Design and Estimation Engineer - Fire Alarm - ELV NAFFCO FZCO

To be successful in this role you must be well versed with Fire and Line Safety UAE fire codes and NFPA -72. Must have experience in estimation of FAS, FAVE, PAVA, CBS, and Emergency Lighting systems. Ability to design Fire Alarm & Fire Fighting Systems for small, medium, and large projects.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed fire alarm system estimates based on project specifications and requirements.
• Review and analyze blueprints, drawings, and other project documentation to determine materials, labor, and equipment needed for each project.
• Collaborate with project managers and sales teams to gather necessary information and ensure accurate estimates.
• Conduct site visits and assessments to gather information and assess project requirements.
• Research and source materials and equipment needed for fire alarm system installations.
• Should have experience in Fire Alarm, Emergency Lighting, Voice Evacuation, and PAVA.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in fire alarm system estimation or a similar role.
• Relevant certifications in fire alarm system design and estimation.
• Experience in the construction or electrical industry.
• Strong knowledge of fire alarm system components, codes, and regulations.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office.
