Design and Estimation Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Knowledge in Voice evacuation, Fire Alarm system, Emergency & Exit light system
• Knowledge in AUTOCAD & Revit 3D modelling
• Knowledge in UAE Fire codes & NFPA Standard
• Design and estimate Extra Low Voltage Fire Alarm Systems for various projects
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for client proposals
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure project requirements are met
• Stay updated on industry standards and regulations related to fire alarm systems
• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to source required materials and equipment
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control measures
• Document project progress and maintain accurate records of design and estimation activities
• Have a strong knowledge in fire alarm, voice evacuation, emergency lighting systems, and UAE fire codes.
• Have an ability to adapt easily in work pressure.
• Have good communication and Microsoft Office skills.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• At least 3 years of experience in designing and estimating fire alarm systems
• Strong technical skills in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Physical ability to conduct site surveys and assessments as needed
