Outstanding Deputy SENCO / Inclusion Teacher

Due to continued growth, Kings School Nad al Sheba is seeking to appoint an outstanding and highly skilled inclusion teacher to join our established inclusion team.

You will be part of a dynamic, passionate team, responsible for providing an exceptional education to some of the most ambitious pupils in Dubai.

Your role will involve inspiring your pupils and staff daily to become lifelong learners. You will receive unparalleled support to ensure you can deliver an exceptional education and fully commit to doing the 'Best by Every Child'.

Purpose of the Role:

• To raise standards of achievement of children with SEN.
• To increase staff confidence and competence in teaching children with SEN.
• To ensure children with SEN have full entitlement to the Kings curriculum.

Requirements and Experience:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE or equivalent.
• Have experience in the role in Primary and/or Secondary settings for a minimum of two years, preferably in the UAE.
• Commitment to inclusive education that meets the needs of the individual child.
• A thorough knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
• A commitment to the wellbeing and pastoral care of all students.
• An innovative, creative, and enthusiastic practitioner who is able and willing to contribute to the team around them and the wider school community.
• A commitment to the extra-curricular programme.
