Job Title: Deputy General Manager

Location: Dubai (with visits to Sharjah, Market Fields in UAE & Overseas offices as needed)
Job Type: Full-Time, Mid-Senior Management

Company Overview:

We are a leading multi-division company with operations across international trade (import/export), shipping, supply chain distribution, and wholesale. With a strong global presence, we seek a dynamic and results-driven Deputy General Manager (DGM) to oversee and drive the daily operations of our diverse business units.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in finance management, international trade, logistics, and wholesale distribution. This is a Mid-senior leadership role requiring operational expertise, strategic thinking, and a focus on efficiency and growth.

Job Summary:

The DGM will be responsible for leading the operational and strategic direction of the group, ensuring seamless integration across international trade, logistics, supply chain, and wholesale divisions. Working closely with senior leadership, the DGM will drive growth, operational efficiency, and compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy:
Lead and manage teams across all business functions. Develop and execute business strategies to drive growth, profitability, and market competitiveness. Foster a high-performance culture focused on teamwork and innovation.
Operations Management:
Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, warehousing, and distribution. Ensure compliance with international trade laws and optimize shipping and delivery processes.
Financial Oversight:
Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance. Develop strategies for cost reduction, margin improvement, and resource optimization.
Team Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
Foster strong relationships with management and departmental teams, ensuring they maintain effective and lasting connections with customers, suppliers, and partners. Proactively identify new business opportunities, execute and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
Risk & Compliance:
Assess and mitigate risks related to international trade, shipping, and supply chain. Ensure compliance with local and international laws, regulations, and quality standards.
Reporting & Strategic Updates:
Provide regular monthly and weekly reports to top management on business performance. Discuss new projects, business strategies, and emerging opportunities, ensuring alignment and timely execution of key initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, International Trade, Logistics, or related field. MBA (finance) preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in international trade, shipping, supply chain, or wholesale. Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and complex operations across regions.
Skills:
Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Expertise in supply chain management and financial oversight. Proficiency with ERP systems and relevant technology.
Personal Attributes:
Strategic thinker with a focus on operational efficiency. Results-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities. Positive attitude, high integrity and attention to detail.
UAE Driving License with driving experience is preferred.
Flexible to relocate or travel all over UAE & overseas as needed.
