Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering preferred.
Minimum of 20 years of relevant experience in the oil & gas industry.
Considered as an SME in area of interest.
Previous experience managing a team of engineering professionals.
Self-starter, driven with a good combination of technical and soft skills.
Good working knowledge of Process Safety Frameworks for operating organizations.
Development, implementation, documentation, maintenance, and day-to-day administration of the technical safety studies, workshops, reports, design deliverables, calculations, reporting, and specifications to meet the objectives of the projects within the Abu Dhabi/Middle East portfolio.
Establishes and maintains the technical standards within the discipline.
Sets strategic and tactical direction regarding policy/procedures, workforce staffing, and budgeting.
Responsible for the overall development of the Technical Safety discipline resources.
Ensuring that changes to regulations, regulatory guidance material, industry standards, and recommended practices related to technical safety are incorporated into the necessary policies, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance with the most current requirements.
Liaising with other Technical Departments and functions.
