Location : Al Ain,UAE (Private Medical Center)

License Requirement : DOH / HAAD License as Dental Assistant (mandatory)

We are currently seeking to hire a qualified Dental Assistant (DOH / HAAD) for one of our clients, a leading Client in Al Ain . The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the dental team in providing top-notch patient care and ensuring the efficient operation of the clinic.

Key Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Prepare Dental Materials : Set up and prepare dental instruments, materials, and medications to be used during patient procedures.
  • X-ray Assistance : Responsible for taking panoramic and cephalic X-rays, developing them, and assisting in peri-apical X-ray taking and development.
  • Impressions : Mix alginate and rubber for impressions as required during dental procedures.
  • Patient Records & Charting : Assist with patient charting, including health history taking and maintaining accurate records of treatment.
  • Inventory Management : Manage and monitor dental materials and medication inventory, ensuring sufficient stock and checking the expiration dates of medications monthly.
  • Sterilization & Cleanliness : Maintain cleanliness and sterility in the treatment room, ensuring that instruments are sterilised and the workspace meets hygiene standards.
  • Other Duties : Perform additional tasks as needed, supporting the dental team and ensuring smooth clinic operations.

Qualifications & Requirements :

  • License : Valid DOH / HAAD License as Dental Assistant (mandatory).
  • Experience : Previous experience in a dental assistant role is preferred.
  • Skills :

Proficiency in dental radiography and X-ray procedures.

  • Ability to mix materials such as alginate and rubber for impressions.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and medical supply tracking.
  • Excellent attention to detail and adherence to hygiene and sterility protocols.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
