Dental Assistant

As a Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting dentists with patient care and performing various administrative tasks in a dental office. You will prepare patients for treatment, sterilize dental instruments, and provide support during dental procedures.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare treatment rooms and set up dental instruments.
2. Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments.
3. Take and develop dental X-rays.
4. Sterilize dental instruments and equipment.
5. Prepare and maintain patient records and charts.
6. Educate patients on oral health and post-operative care.
7. Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
8. Provide administrative support to the dental office.

Minimum Requirements

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Completion of a dental assistant program.
3. X-ray certification.
4. Good knowledge of dental procedures and instruments.
5. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
