Job description
  1. Prepare and present high quality dishes within company guidelines
  2. Keep all working areas clean and tidy and ensure no cross contamination
  3. Prepare all mis-en-place for all relevant menus
  4. Assist in positive outcomes from guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
  5. Ensure food stuffs are of a good quality and stored correctly
  6. Contribute to controlling costs, improving gross profit margins, and other departmental and financial targets
  7. Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships
  8. Report maintenance, hygiene and hazard issues
  9. Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety and food safety legislation
  10. Awareness of departmental targets and strive to achieve them as part of the team
  11. Be environmentally aware
