Job Description

Responsibilities:

  1. Maintains and understands the sales data at different aggregation levels (brands, sub-brands, SKUs, variants, sizes, distribution channels, demand groups, and demand locations).
  2. Gathers information and documents assumptions based on historical data, business intelligence gathered from sales, marketing, finance, retailers, and other sources.
  3. Produces unconstrained base demand plan utilizing APO statistical modelling in collaboration with the central demand planning team.
  4. Maintains and validates assumptions of activities calendar and events forecasting building blocks.
  5. Facilitates parts of the S&OP process to gain consensus and alignment with all stakeholders involved in the process to arrive at one unbiased aligned number, practicing the IBP concepts.
  6. While managing a group of brands, maintains the lead in supporting the ME S&OP process by ensuring that local market insights are fed back to the Dubai head office through a two-stage process.
  7. Risk Management and Inventory Health:
    1. Works with the ME team to identify, manage, and communicate supply criticalities to all stakeholders outside the 3-month horizon.
    2. Collaborates with the regional supply planners to assign the right priority and action plan to minimize such supply risks.
    3. Co-owns with RSP inventory DOS and stock cover for his/her assigned products category/inventory location.
    4. Performs SLOB risk analysis and initiates action plans with the marketing/commercial team to keep SLOB provisions at minimum level.
    5. Supervises planning of Co-pack activities and works closely with the hub operations team to execute these plans.
