Key Responsibilities: As a Deep Cleaner for dnata Catering, your primary responsibility is to ensure cleanliness and sanitation in all areas of the catering facility. You will be responsible for deep cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, surfaces, and utensils to meet food safety standards and regulations. Your attention to detail is crucial in ensuring that all areas, including storage rooms, refrigerators, and freezers, are thoroughly cleaned and maintained. Additionally, you will be responsible for disposing of waste and maintaining proper recycling protocols. Your role will contribute to maintaining a hygienic and safe environment for food preparation, ensuring the highest quality and safety standards for the catering facility.

You Will

• EDUCATION: Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years’ experience in deep cleaning/ housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follow established rules of the facility for entry to building and work areas, properly attired and in compliance with HACCP guidelines for personal hygiene.
• Comply with company implemented sanitation Standard Operating Procedures including the company’s HACCP Plan and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Clean all equipment and tabletops in the hot/cold kitchen.
• Sanitize all interior areas within facility, floors, and external property.
• Handle disposal of all waste products according to regulations.
• Ensure that spills are promptly mopped up and floors are kept dry and degreased.
• Use proper detergents and degreasing solvents to maintain a safe working environment.
• Sanitize all restrooms and areas of common personnel traffic, including walls.
• Empty and clean refuse containers and dispose of refuse in proper bins.
• Assist with placement of office equipment and furniture and kitchen equipment.

Salary: $17.00

You Have

• 3 years prior deep cleaning/ housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial experience.
• Knowledge of power and non-power equipment, and machinery required to perform tasks.
• Excellent attention to detail and self-organization.
• Ability to deal with a heavy workload.
• Flexibility (different shifts - night, weekends, holidays).
• Strong prioritization skills and the ability to perform multiple tasks.

Intellectual/Social demands: This position requires constant attention to precise details and accuracy of specified standards including following instructions, and concentration which frequently extends beyond 30 minutes at a time. Consistent attendance and punctuality are required.

Physical demands: The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Work environment: The essential functions of this position are performed indoors. The noise level in the work environment can range from minimal to loud.
