Deckhand

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are looking for a fit deckhand to join a private motor yacht based in Dubai with great active listening skills and the ability to work under pressure.

The deckhand's responsibilities include:

1. Relaying important information to the crew.
2. Maintaining deck equipment.
3. Assisting with watchkeeping duties.
4. Ensuring the general upkeep of the yacht.
5. Maintaining the yacht including cleaning, painting, and some repairs.
6. Assisting with all aspects of yacht operations, including line handling, docking, and maintenance.
7. Monitoring and maintaining the condition of all safety equipment onboard.
8. Following safety procedures and regulations.
9. Managing a high volume of activity during the program.

YACHT CREW QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Min. 1 year experience in yacht.
2. STCW Basic Training/ Seaman book.
3. Open water diver - advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000 - AED3,500.00 per month
