Job Title: Project Manager – Structured Cabling (Data Centers & Cabling Deployment)

Location: Dubai, UAE

Job Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager (PM) with proven expertise in managing structured cabling projects, specifically within data centers and large-scale cabling deployments. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of cabling standards, data center environments, and the ability to coordinate and oversee complex cabling projects from planning through to successful completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the planning, coordination, and execution of structured cabling projects for data centers and other infrastructure.
• Oversee all aspects of project life cycles, including budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality cabling solutions while adhering to industry standards, local regulations, and client specifications.
• Lead and supervise a team of engineers and technicians, ensuring proper training and adherence to safety protocols.
• Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors to ensure seamless communication and project progress.
• Identify and resolve any technical or logistical issues that may arise during the course of the project.
• Maintain regular reporting on project status, risks, milestones, and financials.
• Ensure all documentation, including drawings, reports, and compliance certifications, are completed and filed accurately.
• Perform quality assurance checks on cabling installations, ensuring all systems meet the required operational standards.
• Stay current with the latest industry trends and cabling technologies.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in structured cabling project management, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in data center environments.
• Strong understanding of cabling standards, industry best practices (e.g., ANSI/TIA, ISO/IEC), and local regulations.
• Previous experience in cabling deployments, installation, and commissioning of large-scale projects.
• Proven experience in managing budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and direct project teams.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is a plus.
• Knowledge of data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, and security, is preferred.
• Familiarity with tools and software used for project management, scheduling, and reporting (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
• Fluent in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus).
