Job Description:

The Database Developer is responsible for developing and supporting PLSQL database codes for the Revenue Accounting system.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

1. Strong development skills in Oracle Database 11g, preferably in the airline domain.
2. Data Architecture & modeling skills.
3. Understanding of database objects like tables, views, etc.
4. Building packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.
5. Advanced PLSQL Programming, including Collections, Bulk processing, and Analytical functions.
6. SQL query tuning and PL/SQL performance optimization.
7. Daily support tasks and ticket resolution.
8. Ability to understand business requirements, provide solution design, and work independently.
9. Good data analysis skills.

Major Areas of Responsibility:

1. Develop the SQL and PL/SQL codes to automate manual reporting tasks.
2. Optimize existing codes for better performance.
3. Integrate data between different databases.
4. Perform data analysis to identify discrepancies and provide root cause analysis for data issues.

Technology / Tools: Oracle Database 11g, SQL, PL/SQL, TOAD, SQL Developer.
