Data Scientist

My client, a consultancy, is looking for a data scientist with expertise in cutting-edge technologies, machine learning, and generative AI. You will play a pivotal role in shaping strategies and driving innovation through advanced data analytics across a variety of industries.

You will be responsible for:

1. Developing and implementing advanced machine learning models, including regression, classification, clustering, and neural networks.
2. Building, fine-tuning, and deploying generative AI models for text, image, video, or audio applications using PyTorch or TensorFlow.
3. Harnessing multi-GPU environments for pretraining models and optimizing generative AI performance.
4. Designing and executing predictive analytics and time-series forecasting solutions to inform investment decisions.
5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to manage and analyze large-scale data using Apache Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
6. Developing and maintaining data pipelines and architectures in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).

Qualifications

• Ideally a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. A Ph.D. is a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn), R, Java, and Scala.
• Extensive experience in machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI, with demonstrated success in applying these to real-world problems.
• Proficiency in big data technologies and frameworks, including Apache Hadoop and Spark.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
• Strong skills in developing dashboards and visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, and Python libraries.
