Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into well-defined data science problems.
2. Identify relevant data sources and assess their quality and suitability for analysis.
3. Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover patterns, trends, and anomalies.
4. Clean, transform, and process data to ensure its readiness for modelling.
5. Design and implement feature engineering techniques to extract meaningful information from raw data.
6. Develop and maintain data pipelines for efficient data ingestion and processing.
7. Select and apply appropriate machine learning algorithms (e.g., regression, classification, clustering) to build predictive and prescriptive models.
8. Experiment with and evaluate different models to select the best approach for each use case.
9. Optimize models for performance, accuracy, and scalability.
10. Deploy models to production environments (e.g., Azure ML/ Containerized ML Model with REST Endpoint) and monitor their performance.
11. Familiarity with LLM application libraries and frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, Dify).
12. Experience working with deep learning models and libraries, as well as GPU acceleration libraries (e.g., CUDA, cuDNN) for optimizing model training and inference.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Machine learning, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in an Applied Data Scientist or related role.
3. An insatiable curiosity and a learning mindset that enable you to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
4. Expert Level Proficiency in Python.
5. Proven track record of developing and deploying production-ready machine learning models.
6. Experience with model optimization, deployment, and monitoring.

Ideally, you’ll also need:

1. A commitment to experiment, learn and collaborate.
2. A highly data-focused and investigative approach to problem-solving.
3. Experience with MLOps tools and practices.
