Data Engineer (Informatica BDM) - Virtusa

Role: Data Engineer

Skill: Informatica BDM 10.2.x, ETL, Big Data, Hadoop ecosystem

Description:

1. Should have strong expertise in Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL) mechanism using Informatica Big Data Management 10.2.X and various Push down mode using Spark, Blaze and Hive execution engine.
2. Should have strong expertise in Dynamic mapping Use case, Development, Deployment mechanism using Informatica Big Data Management 10.2.X.
3. Should have experience in transforming and loading various complex data source types such as unstructured data sources and NoSQL data sources.
4. Should have strong expertise in Hive Database including Hive DDL, Partition and Hive Query Language.
5. Should have good understanding of Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, Spark, Hive).
6. Should have strong expertise in SQL/PLSQL.
7. Should have good knowledge of working with Oracle/Sybase/SQL Databases.
8. Should have good knowledge of Data Lake and Dimensional Data Modelling implementation.
9. Should be able to understand the requirements and write Functional Specification Document, Design Document and Mapping Specifications.
