Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer and Data Integration Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role involves designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines and integration solutions to support our data-driven initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Data Pipeline Development: Design and implement scalable data pipelines using tools like Apache Airbyte and Kafka.
• Data Integration: Utilize technologies such as Dremio and dbt Core to integrate and transform data from various sources.
• API Management: Manage and optimize API integrations using platforms like Software AG.
• Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of data processes, architectures, and integration workflows.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of data integration techniques.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Dremio, dbt Core, Apache Airbyte, Iceberg, Kafka, and Airflow.
• API Management: Hands-on experience with API management tools and practices.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with data integration tools like Airbyte, Informatica, Talend, or similar low-code/no-code platforms.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, API development and familiarity with Python or similar scripting languages.
• Familiarity with data modelling techniques and data warehouse architectures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
