Role Overview
The Data Coordinator will support the Data and Assessment Lead in leveraging data for effective decision-making. This role involves managing the school information system (iSAMS), ensuring compliance with data regulations, analyzing assessment outcomes, and generating insightful reports to enhance student achievement and school performance. The ideal candidate will have strong data management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate data-driven insights effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Data Management & System Administration:
- Manage and maintain the School Information System (iSAMS), ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Set up and maintain new iSAMS modules and manage user accounts and permissions.
- Assist with setting up and maintaining the school timetable in iSAMS.
- Monitor user access, security, and compliance with data protection regulations.
- Provide technical support and training to system users.
Assessment & Data Analysis:
- Import and manage assessment data (e.g., CAT4, GL Progress Test, and internal assessment data).
- Generate data reports, including predictive analytics for student performance.
- Identify trends and areas for improvement using assessment data and learner progress reports.
- Support the identification of underachieving students and provide data-driven insights for targeted interventions.
Reporting & Compliance:
- Assist with reporting processes and data quality monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in data handling.
- Provide detailed reports on student performance to support curriculum planning and school improvement strategies.
IT & System Support:
- Provide data reports and technical support for IT-related activities as needed.
- Collaborate with relevant teams to enhance digital learning tools and reporting mechanisms.
- Experience with Toddle is a plus.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, IT, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a data or administrative role within an educational setting.
- Experience with iSAMS is essential, including system management, reporting, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of data analytics, assessment tracking, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in IT tools, including Excel, Google Sheets, and data visualization platforms.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly to various stakeholders.
