We are looking for a Sales Manager with 5 plus years of experience in selling backup software and data protection solutions, preferably with endpoint backup software sales and solutions to customers and partners in the NCR/Delhi region, India, and Dubai, UAE.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Acquisition & Lead Generation: Proactively identify, prospect, and engage potential customers to introduce backup software solutions, leveraging a variety of lead-generation techniques (cold calling, email outreach, networking, etc.).
Partner Sales & Ecosystem Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, resellers, and distributors to drive sales growth and expand the customer base. Collaborate with partners to identify joint opportunities, provide product training, and ensure effective solution delivery to end customers.
Product Presentations & Demos: Conduct in-depth product demonstrations and presentations to educate customers about the value and benefits of backup software and data protection solutions, addressing customer-specific pain points and requirements.
Client Needs Assessment & Solution Customization: Collaborate with customers to understand their backup, data protection, and management needs, and propose the most appropriate backup software solutions to optimize their infrastructure.
Key Requirements:
Experience: 5 plus years of experience in sales to end-customers and also drive through the partner ecosystem in the endpoint backup & data protection industry.
Sales Proficiency: Understanding of data backup, recovery, and data protection solutions and cloud technologies.
Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to analyze client needs and propose effective, customized solutions.
Education: MBA in Sales and Marketing or MBA in Business Development is mandatory, and a bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
