Exciting Opportunity: Data Architect (Remote Dubai Bank)

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to join a renowned bank based in Dubai with remote work flexibility. If you have a passion for designing innovative data solutions and thrive in a collaborative fast-paced environment, this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Design data models, pipelines, and end-to-end architecture.
• Implement data solutions that ensure accuracy, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective data strategies.
• Lead and mentor Data Engineers in pipeline design, optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Drive capacity planning and cost optimization for Azure cloud services.
• Ensure compliance with data governance policies for quality and security.

Qualifications:

• 15 years of IT experience with at least 7 years in data architecture.
• Strong expertise in Cloudera, Apache Kafka, Azure Data Services (ADF, Databricks, Cosmos DB).
• Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cosmos DB).
• Proven success in designing high-performance scalable data architectures.
• Experience with batch and streaming data pipelines using Databricks, Spark, Kafka.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field.
