Data & Analytics Business Consultant

Elitmind is constantly growing and because of that we are looking for a Business/System Analyst who has got excellent communication skills. This person should be able to easily gather and understand business needs and goals, notice things that even customers cannot see and translate them into system requirements and specifications. Our Analyst must be able to cooperate with different stakeholders to obtain all the necessary information to build the recommendation of the best suited solution for our customer. Essentially, the person in this role acts as an Advisor and Business Consultant for a client regarding possible options that can optimize or improve Data/Reporting/Analytics/Application Systems. Preparing and conducting effective presentations for different groups of the audience is also an essential skill in this role.

Experience with Power BI, SQL, Databricks and/or Azure would be a great advantage.

Location: United Arab Emirates

Tasks:

1. Identifying business needs and goals to recommend project scope/product Roadmap and possible Quick Wins.
2. Preparing and conducting presentations targeted to different groups of the audience.
3. Gathering functional and non-functional requirements.
4. Conducting stakeholder meetings, managing requirement iterations, and ensuring timely delivery of functional documentation.
5. Assessing business processes and identifying potential improvements and enhancements.
6. Analyzing data sources and designing optimal data models.
7. Creating and proposing a final solution to the Client, e.g., in the form of ready-made Power BI report mockups.
8. Building Project Backlogs, especially defining Epics and User Stories.
9. Close cooperation with the architects in the design phase.
10. Close cooperation with the developers in the implementation of the project.
11. Preparing Test Plans and testing developed solutions.
12. Analytical documentation management.
13. Direct cooperation with the client in creating Business Intelligence solutions and business apps.
14. Supporting Project Owner in project management or the possibility of project coordination in the SCRUM/AGILE method.
15. Writing Business Requirement Documents while gathering techno-functional info of systems.

Requirements:

1. 5+ years of experience in Business and System analytics in Data & Analytics.
2. 2+ years of experience as a Product Owner of implementation in Data & Analytics area.
3. Can-do and problem-solving attitude to advise customers in the best possible way.
4. Ability to cooperate effectively with Stakeholders from different levels of the organizational structure: from TOP management to operational level.
5. Ability to understand different solution architecture models and diagrams.
6. Ability to break down complex requirements into actionable deliverables for data engineering teams.
7. Goal-oriented attitude.
8. Customer-focused approach to work.
9. Thinking outside the box.
10. Excellent communication skills.
11. Fluent English.
12. Awareness of Data platform and Data product journey, with familiarity to data Analytics.
13. Exposure to Advanced analytics, Machine learning & AI related data requirements is a plus.
14. Experience in direct cooperation with clients (internally or externally) in a role of a Business Consultant or Advisor will be an additional advantage.
15. Awareness of Finance/controlling area specifics.
