To track and monitor financial and non-financial data to ensure the accuracy of the information that goes into the management and reporting of all financial results of the Middle East and South East Asia based sites.
To provide data analysis of financial information in support of the Regional Management Accountant and Regional Finance Director as required.
To analyse data, solve problems, and prepare reports as required.
To manage projects that may involve data collection, problem solving, analysis, and business efficiency reviews.
To use and manipulate the data and systems to prepare financial models for budgeting and forecasting.
To provide financial analysis and KPI reporting for the Regional Team as required.
Review of the information and data within the systems and identifying areas for the Regional Management Accountant's attention.
Ensure accuracy of data going into the systems and the output.
Production of the management and reporting packs linked to the various systems and ultimately linked to TM1 Cognos reporting package.
Continually develop and improve management information reports for the other sites and management.
Problem solving with the schools' data and identifying solutions.
Produce reports to measure efficiencies and build comparisons between schools for management reporting.
To assist the team in the preparation of annual budgets, regular forecasts, and cash flow forecasts with particular focus on financial modelling and reports.
Meeting tight deadlines set by the group.
Any task as deemed reasonable by the Regional Management Accountant.
Required Skills
Experience and proven ability in a Data Analyst role with excellent Excel and presentation skills for the purpose of reporting for financial and non-financial people.
Experience and proven ability in data analysis and planning.
Experience in accountancy software products such as Navision, Oracle, SAGE, and/or other financial systems.
Microsoft Office is required with excellent Excel skills.
Particular experience in using data warehouse systems and reporting systems. The group uses TM1, an IBM Cognos system.
The ability to work to tight deadlines and the ability to gather, analyse, explain, and consolidate data for management reporting.
Some accounting knowledge is desirable but not essential.
