DATA ANALYST - DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION

Our client, a multinational company based in Dubai is urgently looking for a Data Analyst – Digital Transformation. This role is a one-year fixed contract with a possibility of renewal.

Profile Summary :

Under the guidance and support of Team Leader, the candidate will be part of the Digital Transformation (DX) team to support business units (BUs) in the MEA region and drive data analytics / science implementations to enhance the businesses.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Strongly collaborate with DX team members and support with AI and Analytics use case roll outs for different businesses in various countries by leveraging DX frameworks.
2. Develop and implement data science models and algorithms to support business decision-making.
3. Design and execute business Proof of Concepts (PoCs) with predictive and causal models.
4. Clean and process large, complex datasets to extract meaningful insights as needed.
5. Use statistical and/or machine learning techniques to identify patterns and trends in data.
6. Communicate findings and insights to key stakeholders, including DX and cross-functional teams.
7. Deeply understand the individual businesses (undertaken by BUs), the needs, and consult with the person/team in charge to execute analytics projects.
8. Continuously stay curious and up to date with the market trends/evolving tech to propose solutions for various businesses across assets in diverse industries.
9. Establish trust with internal and external stakeholders along with the hypotheses/analytical results sharing.

Experience :

1. Minimum 8 years of experience with data analytics, and AI in high growth areas such as retail, healthcare, food/nutrition, mobility, or consumer-centric businesses.
2. Proficient in programming languages such as Python or R.
3. Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and SQL.

Education :

Bachelor's or master’s degree preferably in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
