Position Overview:

The Data Analyst will support NCH's supply chain and cross-functional teams (including sales & marketing, e-commerce, finance, etc.) by delivering insightful reports, conducting data analysis, and enabling data-driven decision-making. This role will focus on demand forecasting, operational analysis, enhancing e-commerce and sales performance through detailed data insights and supporting technology enablement initiatives. In addition, the candidate will support data migration and/or implementation of new systems (e.g. Last mile delivery, sales CRM, etc.). The ideal candidate will have strong critical analysis skills, advanced data visualization capabilities, and experience working collaboratively across teams.

Responsibilities:

Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights for supply chain and cross-functional teams.
  • Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across operations.
  • Support decision-making by delivering clear, data-backed recommendations.

Supply Chain Support

  • Build and refine demand forecasting models to optimize inventory and reduce costs.
  • Analyze supplier performance and operational metrics to enhance supply chain efficiency.
  • Identify bottlenecks and recommend solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Monitor key supply chain metrics (e.g., lead times, inventory turnover, and stock availability) to ensure efficient operations.

Cross-Functional Support

  • Collaborate with sales, including e-commerce, to provide data insights supporting channel performance and strategy.
  • Partner with finance for cost and profitability analysis and budgeting insights.
  • Assist marketing teams in analyzing campaign performance and customer behavior trends.
  • Work with IT to document requirements for analytics tools and ensure alignment with operational goals.
  • Support teams in adopting data analytics platforms for more effective reporting and decision-making.
  • Train internal teams on using dashboards and interpreting data insights.

Continuous Improvement and Strategic Support

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement through data analysis.
  • Propose actionable solutions to enhance efficiency and drive business results.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analytics and supply chain management.

Quality Assurance and Compliance

  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data through validation processes.
  • Maintain compliance with data security and privacy regulations.
  • Support with data migration and/or update on ERP.
  • Support EPI integrations between ERP system and other solutions when needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Certifications in tools like Power BI, Tableau, or SQL as a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data analysis, primarily in supply chain operations, with added exposure to sales and e-commerce analytics being advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, Excel, and analytical tools, coupled with strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, adaptable, and collaborative, with a proactive approach to identifying and implementing data-driven improvements.
