As a Data Analyst working from our Design Studio at the Al Hudaiba Awards office in Dubai, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our design and creative teams to provide data-driven insights that will shape the direction of our projects. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to help inform design decisions and improve the overall performance of our design work.
Responsibilities include:
- Data Collection & Management: Gather and organize data from various sources, including project data, user behavior, market trends, and performance metrics.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze large datasets to uncover actionable insights, trends, and patterns that will support design strategies and decision-making.
- Design Process Support: Collaborate with the design team to provide data-driven recommendations and insights that will inform the creative process and optimize design outcomes.
- Customer & User Insights: Interpret customer and user data to assist in the development of personas, user journeys, and the overall design strategy.
- Performance Metrics: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of design projects, ensuring that design objectives are met.
- Data Visualization: Create clear, concise, and visually appealing data visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights to stakeholders and design teams.
- A/B Testing & Experimentation: Support the design team in planning and analyzing A/B tests or design experiments to assess the impact of design changes.
- Collaborative Problem Solving: Work cross-functionally with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve challenges using data insights.
- Trend Forecasting: Identify emerging trends and opportunities in the design and user experience space based on data analysis to help shape future projects.
- Documentation & Presentation: Prepare and present data findings, reports, and recommendations to stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of insights and results.
Here's what you'll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Design, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience working as a data analyst in a design environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and draw insights from complex datasets.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Python, R) and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
- Knowledge of user experience (UX) research and design processes is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present data insights in a clear and compelling way.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
