Overview
As a Data Analyst at Inception, you will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing data to help drive informed business decisions. Reporting to the Lead Data Engineer, you will work closely with various teams to deliver insights and actionable recommendations based on data analysis.
The Data Analyst is a technical role focused on analyzing data to extract meaningful insights and support business operations. This role involves data manipulation, visualization, and reporting to inform decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate findings effectively.
Responsibilities
As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing data to provide insights and support decision-making. Your role will encompass a range of activities focused on data analysis, reporting, and collaboration.
- Collect and process data from various internal and external sources.
- Clean and prepare data for analysis to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Maintain data integrity and perform quality checks to ensure data reliability.
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Generate reports and dashboards to visualize data and communicate findings.
- Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to support business decisions.
- Create data visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Develop interactive dashboards to enable stakeholders to explore data and insights.
- Ensure visualizations effectively communicate key findings and support decision-making.
- Continuously improve data analysis processes and methodologies.
Qualifications
Skills and attributes for success:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis or a related field.
- Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R).
