Data Collection in Field
- Required to visit outlets at the time and date according to their schedule.
- Complete Front Page form in every shop visited with all the requested information.
- Each auditor is allocated a number of outlets of different types, which is to be referred to as his/her "Panel". As far as this panel is concerned, the auditor is responsible to clear the number of items in the IC questionnaire.
- Return completed questionnaire to the field office according to the given schedule. Before submitting the questionnaire, item description, segments, price, barcodes, and item codes should be validated carefully. Also, wherever there is permission to capture the image, the pictures of the product should be uploaded in e-pics through Nielsen Product Picture (NPP). There should not be any compromise on the quality of information collected.
- Average number of items cleared per day should be no less than 65.
Support on
- Collecting the new category/characteristics opening based on specific requests.
- Purchase of the items based on the Operations and ad-hoc requirement.
- Additional office activities related to IC questionnaire preparation and quality control.
- Queries.
- Panel Census Information collection.
- Maintain a healthy relationship with the retailers/shopkeepers. Notify the supervisor about outlets refusing cooperation or any other difficulties encountered.
- Proactively capture the complete barcode, description, price, and relevant information and report back to the office for new launches for the regular SKU and promotion.
- Before the start of each audit period, the auditor must attend the briefing/training session; each new auditor must attend an intensive initial training session. The auditor will be explained his/her duties and responsibilities, the fieldwork procedures, how to describe correctly the various items audited, and other client-specific requests. The auditor will also be taken through spot training with visits to local outlets.
- Needs to develop a new product launch report which should include required characteristics with clear images and submit frequently.
- Adherence to Nielsen Code of Conduct.
Field Updates Responsibilities
- Collect useful information from the field that takes place in the respective market and prepare a sufficient market highlights report.
- Ensure distribution of gifts given to retail shops at the ratio defined by the supervisor and upon completion get a receipt form.
Qualifications
- Good in Communication: English Speaking, Reading, and Writing.
- Computer Knowledge (MS Office: Excel, Word, Outlook), Driving License with a car required for Field coordination.
