Job Description

Job Description - Cybersecurity Specialist

1. Designing and implementing security measures specifically for IoT devices and networks, ensuring secure communication and data protection.
2. Implementing and managing security controls within cloud environments, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
3. Providing specialized consulting services to organizations to enhance their IoT, cloud, and overall digital security.
4. Leading a team of security analysts to monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents, with a focus on cloud and IoT environments.
5. Designing end-to-end IoT solutions with a strong emphasis on security, ensuring devices, networks, and data are protected.
6. Conducting security assessments, vulnerability testing, and implementing security measures for IoT and cloud systems.
7. Integrating security practices into the DevOps pipeline, ensuring secure development, deployment, and operations of IoT and cloud applications.

Qualifications

1. Technical Expertise: Proficiency in IoT protocols, cloud platforms, cybersecurity frameworks, and encryption methods.
2. Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or specialized IoT and cloud security certifications.
3. Experience: Hands-on experience with security tools, threat detection, incident response, and compliance.
4. Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to effectively convey complex security concepts to stakeholders.
5. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise with employees during incidents and reporting.
6. Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills to evaluate scenarios, assess impacts, and make data-driven decisions.
7. Ability to prioritize a wide range of workloads with critical deadlines.
8. Availability outside of working hours to resolve emergency issues promptly.
