Job Title: Cyber Security Specialist

Location: Dubai

Duration: 12+ Months

Minimum Requirements:

1. 10+ years experience
2. Strong knowledge of Cyber Threat Intelligence principles, including indicators of compromise (IOC) types, indicator pivoting, and indicator attribution strength.
3. Working knowledge of IS programs including Incident Management, Vulnerability Assessment, Cyber Intelligence, Infrastructure Defence, and Security Operations.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide advice and guidance in relation to Threat Intelligence as and when required.
2. Measure the effectiveness of Cyber hunting capabilities to ensure appropriate plans are in place to address lower performance and ineffective practices.
3. Conduct Network, Endpoint, and log analysis by utilizing various consoles on a regular basis (SIEM, Firewalls, IPS, etc).
4. Track Cyber threat actors/campaigns based on technical analysis and open-source intelligence.
5. Research and track new exploits and cyber threats.
6. Understand attack methodologies and defense strategies (i.e., SQL injection, buffer overflow, DoS, ARP poisoning, etc).
7. Conduct complex analysis and interpret cybersecurity threat intelligence to identify emerging risks and vulnerabilities, quantify potential impact, and develop conclusions and recommendations for supervisory responses.
8. Engage with IT and other related units to provide inputs and requirements to influence threat mitigation strategies.
9. Analyze internal risk and security data controls to identify security weaknesses.
10. Manage and consolidate cyber threat data sources, compile reports, and provide insights.
11. Lead the enhancement and optimization of implemented reporting mechanisms to demonstrate the value of the Cyber Intelligence function with tangible benefits.
12. Liaise with external intelligence agencies and law enforcement.
13. Lead consulting and subject matter expert engagement for enterprise security services.
