The company is dedicated to innovation and continuous growth, aiming to transform ordinary experiences into extraordinary ones. The Cyber Security Engineer will report to the Cyber Security Lead. This role requires deep expertise in securing AWS Cloud environments and managing a wide range of defensive security tools and processes, network security. The role will involve reviewing, designing, implementing, and maintaining security measures to protect cloud infrastructure from evolving threats. The ideal candidate will work on the ground to implement security controls, perform assessments, and ensure a robust cybersecurity posture across the organization.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain security controls for AWS Cloud Infrastructure to ensure a secure and resilient environment.
• Secure cloud-based services and infrastructure components, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
• Manage and optimize Firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), and Web Application Firewalls (WAF) for enhanced threat protection.
• Oversee Web Content Gateway configurations to ensure secure filtering and protection of web traffic.
• Manage Network Detection and Response (NDR) to identify and mitigate threats in real time.
• Administer Privileged Access Management (PAM) to protect privileged accounts and reduce insider threats; implement and enforce role-based access controls (RBAC) and least privilege principles.
• Oversee Data Leak Prevention (DLP) solutions to prevent data exfiltration.
• Manage Database Activity Monitoring (DAM) to ensure data integrity and secure access to sensitive information.
• Lead Vulnerability Management programs to identify, assess, and remediate security risks promptly.
• Develop and maintain incident response processes, ensuring rapid detection, containment, and resolution of threats.
• Design, review, and maintain secure infrastructure architectures for both cloud and on-premises environments.
• Collaborate with Blue Team to optimize SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) for enhanced threat detection and response.
• Respond to and remediate identified threats, incidents, and vulnerabilities promptly and effectively.
• Continuously evaluate and enhance security practices and technologies to align with emerging threats and industry advancements.
• Ensure security controls and processes comply with industry standards and regulations such as ISO 27001 and PCI DSS.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in information security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity with a focus on cloud, application, and infrastructure security.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security Specialty, Security+, CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are preferred but not mandatory.
• Proven expertise with AWS Cloud Security tools and solutions, including Cloud Firewalls, IPS, NDR, DAM, PAM, DLP, WAF, and WCG.
• Strong proficiency in network security and data security, with experience managing Web Content Gateways.
• Experience in executing cybersecurity projects and assessments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and drive results.
