JOB PURPOSE:

The Customer Service Associate (CSA) is responsible for providing the highest standards of customer service, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction. Apart from selling, the CSA is also responsible for stocking, visual merchandising, ordering of merchandise, and related administrative duties.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Primarily responsible for providing high standards of customer service, including gift wrapping and after-sales service.
  2. Greet all customers promptly and politely as they enter the store and ensure adherence to customer service standards.
  3. Guide customers throughout the store or to specific areas as per customer requests.
  4. Identify the specific needs of each customer that enters the store.
  5. Provide accurate and current information about products for all inquiries.
  6. Operate as a cashier, ensuring accuracy in money handling.
  7. Apply upselling skills to all customers.
  8. Attach price tags to merchandise on the shop floor.
  9. Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the shop floor and restock goods attractively as per brand guidance.
  10. Work towards reducing incidents of theft and alert the manager in such cases.
  11. Ensure safe working practices at all times.
  12. Steam hanging merchandise and ensure folded merchandise is neat and well-organized.
  13. Follow grooming standards as per brand guidelines.
  14. Maintain high levels of attendance and punctuality.
  15. Be involved in stock control and management.
  16. Receive and store deliveries, report discrepancies to the supervisor, and check stock daily.
  17. Maintain a clean and well-organized back-stock area including staff break area.
  18. Follow FIFO (First In First Out) practices at all times.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
  2. 1-2 years of experience in the Food & Beverage industry.
  3. 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
  4. Fluency in English.
