Custody Services Principle Engineer

Job Title: Principal Engineer – Custody Services (Technology)
Location: Abu Dhabi
Duration: 6 Months (Extendable)

Job Purpose:
The Principal Engineer will lead the strategic planning, management, and improvement of technology services for the securities services business under investment banking, specifically for custody services. This role will be responsible for heading and managing applications supporting custody services in the UAE and globally, focusing on technical delivery and applying best practices across all managed services.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the strategic planning and management of technology services for custody services in the UAE and globally.
2. Requirement gathering and elicitation.
3. Leverage business analysis skills to define requirements and implement technology solutions aligned with business goals.
4. Engage with stakeholders to ensure service delivery aligns with business objectives and enhances user satisfaction.
5. Drive Agile and DevOps practices to improve efficiency and service delivery.
6. Oversee the full lifecycle of IT services, ensuring they meet evolving business needs and regulatory requirements.
7. Set KPIs and OKRs for service teams and track progress.
8. Define, monitor, and manage SLAs to meet or exceed performance expectations.
9. Support service delivery managers and Scrum Masters in delivery.

Qualifications:

1. 10-15 years of experience in a similar role within the technology sector, with a focus on custody services.
2. At least 5 years of experience working with TCS products.
3. Strong background in business analysis and stakeholder engagement.
4. Expert-level industry certifications (e.g., AWS Architect, TOGAF).
5. Proven track record in managing technology services for securities services and investment banking.
6. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
