Credit Analyst (Emiratisation)

This role is designed to assess new credit applications and conduct annual reviews, ensuring sound credit decisions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Credit Assessment: Evaluate new credit applications by analyzing financial data, cash flows, and business performance.
2. Annual Reviews: Conduct thorough reviews of existing credit portfolios to assess ongoing creditworthiness and identify potential risks.
3. Proposal Preparation: Prepare comprehensive credit proposals and present findings to the Credit Committee for approval.
4. Collaboration: Work closely with Relationship Managers to ensure accuracy and completeness in credit applications and reviews.
5. Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal credit policies, regulatory standards, and risk management frameworks.
6. Market Monitoring: Continuously monitor market trends and economic conditions to inform credit decisions.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
2. Experience: 5+ years as a Credit Analyst in the banking sector, focusing on credit assessments and annual reviews.
3. Financial Analysis: Strong skills in analyzing financial statements and cash flows.
4. Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with UAE banking regulations and credit policies is highly desirable.
5. Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
6. Communication Skills: Effective communication and presentation skills to clearly convey credit recommendations to stakeholders.
