Project Leadership: Lead and manage multiple cybersecurity projects from initiation through completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Risk Management: Identify potential cybersecurity risks and vulnerabilities, developing strategies to mitigate them throughout the project lifecycle.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with IT, compliance, and other departments to understand requirements, facilitate communication, and foster collaboration.
Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively, balancing team workloads and ensuring the availability of necessary skills and expertise.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation and provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, risks, and issues.
Compliance and Standards: Ensure projects adhere to industry regulations, organizational policies, and best practices in cybersecurity.
Training and Awareness: Facilitate training sessions and awareness programs to enhance the cybersecurity knowledge and skills of team members.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management within the IT cybersecurity domain.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Relevant certifications: PMP, PRINCE2.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
Proven experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) and tools (e.g., Jira, Microsoft Project).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
