Country Sales Manager – Global FMCG Brand

The main mission is to optimize/maximize distribution penetration for product lines in all sales channels, build-up in-store visibility for products which is at least competitive or preferably superior to directly competing products.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  1. Develop plans to build-up weighted distribution in each region/city/or town in coordination with Distributor’s local management, and follow-up to achieve timely & effective implementation.
  2. Develop in-store visibility plans in coordination with local Distributor’s management; and follow-up to achieve timely & effective implementation.
  3. Initiate & develop annual marketing plan/s as per the strategy & guidelines set and agreed with your direct management and regional marketing team; follow-up on implementation; and report back progress & any recommendations to change or amend.
  4. Play a central role in steering Key Account Management in coordination with respective distributor’s management; with aim to continuously improve share of shelf vs. competitors and to amplify impact of product visibility on consumers. Company products being Impulse products - it becomes imperative to place company products on checkouts, in category, and occasionally in selective out of category.
  5. Establish and communicate necessary KPIs (key performance indicators) for all Trade & Consumer related projects and activities; and report back on Achievements vs. Objectives set.
  6. Monitor order forecasts communicated by distributors, as well as confirmed orders placed by distributor from the different company factories. The aim is to ensure sufficient stocks at all times, and to maintain additional buffer stock equivalent to 2 months future sales - taking into consideration sales growth as a consequence to promotional activities.

Skills & Requirements:

  • 5 years minimum Sales and/or Marketing management experience in FMCG industry preferably in impulse driven product lines such gum, candy, chocolate, snacks, batteries…etc.
  • Prior experience in Key Account Management / Trade Marketing / Sales and Distribution.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Good skills in Microsoft Office, mainly Excel, Word, Power Point, and Microsoft Outlook. Prior experience in SAP is a plus.

Education:

Bachelor in business degree with focus on Marketing or Finance.
