Job description

A Country Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, managing the sales team, and developing strategies to expand market share within a specific country. The role requires extensive experience in sales management, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the local market, along with a background in the relevant industry.

Key Accountabilities 

The position involves: 

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve the company's revenue and market share goals within the country.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Create and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and plans in alignment with company objectives.
  • Recruit, train, and lead a sales team to drive high performance and meet sales targets.
  • Set individual and team sales targets, monitor progress, and provide coaching and feedback.
  • Foster a motivating and results-driven environment for the sales team.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop long-term partnerships.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure profitable deals.
  • Track and analyze sales performance metrics, making adjustments to strategies as needed to optimize results.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and action plans.
  • Ensure alignment of sales activities with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Identify and explore new markets, regions, and segments to expand the company’s presence and customer base.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies and campaigns to support sales efforts.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

We are Looking for:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is often preferred.
  • Relevant experience with Industrial tools - Building materials - oil & gas supplies ...etc.
  • Extensive experience (typically 7-10+ years) in sales, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth.
  • Previous experience in a leadership role, managing a sales team, and overseeing sales operations within a specific country or region.
