Overview

We’re seeking a HR Manager with experience across disciplines - talent management, recruiting, employee relations and operational HR, to fill a key role in a global HR organization and drive all HR activity at a site level. You will work closely with local and global teams to provide consultative advice and tactical execution of talent development and employee relations activities. This role is responsible for overseeing the country governance, policies, and procedures, and enhances employee engagement and personal development.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted partner to the Country Manager. Support business planning/execution process and incorporate into the site HR plan.
  • Lead the local HR team to ensure their professional development and deliver an accurate, timely and employee-focused HR operation.
  • Provide payroll processing backup support, partners with accounting and payroll to maintain the payroll database, and provide day-to-day benefits administration service, including assistance with claims.
  • Partner with local leaders to build people capacity by ensuring that employee development and succession planning are ongoing business processes.
  • Work collaboratively with the Global HR Subject Matter Experts across Total Reward, Learning, Talent Acquisition, Performance Development, and Management.
  • Work closely with managers to communicate Human Resources policies, procedures, programs, and laws and regulations ensuring a win-win situation of all parties.
  • Collaborate with internal communication team and local business leaders to demonstrate that employee feedback is heard and actioned. Support employee teams to create solutions and proactively share experience outside the country.
  • Help monitor the organization’s culture to support the attainment of the company’s goals and promote employee satisfaction. Build engagement, connection, and pride with all employees through delivery of regular programs e.g. recognition, celebration, wellbeing, merit, and promotions.
  • Personally act as a ‘change agent’ within country to deliver the global and local people agenda. Build a network of managers/employees to achieve business transformation goals.
  • Promote a positive environment that nurtures local employee engagement and ensures positive working relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with all governmental and labor legal and government reporting requirements.
  • Ensure local data is correct and accurate to identify trends in people and performance data. Make recommendations to inform business planning.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
  • Professional fluency in both written and spoken English is required.
  • Previous significant HR experience across disciplines - talent management, recruiting, employee relations, operational HR.
  • Results-driven and solution-focused.
  • Exemplary planning ability and ability to work in a fast-paced, time-specific environment.
  • Flexible, tenacious, positive, and resilient approach.
  • Experience with HRIS and payroll-related systems is needed.
  • Experience in the administration of Human Resources programs.
  • Strong understanding of MS Office tools.
  • Knowledge of the applicable employment law and practices.
