Job Summary:

CaSE is looking for a dynamic and experienced leader to fill the dual role of Country Director & Technical Sales Director in Saudi Arabia. This comprehensive role combines high-level operational leadership with strategic business development to drive growth and profitability in the Civil and Structural Engineering sectors across the Middle East. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both business management and technical sales, with a proven ability to lead in-country operations while executing world-class sales strategies. Key Responsibilities:

Country Director Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all in-country operations in Saudi Arabia, ensuring alignment with CaSE’s strategic goals and driving operational excellence.
  • Develop and implement robust business development strategies to introduce and sustain a strong P&L, leveraging market insights and industry expertise.
  • Manage financial aspects, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, to ensure profitability and efficient resource allocation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, government entities, and regulatory bodies, to enhance CaSE’s market presence and reputation.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with CaSE’s global partners in Australia, Dubai, the UK, and Brazil to ensure a cohesive approach to business development and operational excellence across all regions.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities to keep CaSE at the forefront of the market.

Technical Sales Director Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to expand CaSE’s footprint in the Civil and Structural Engineering sectors throughout the Middle East, with a focus on Saudi Arabia.
  • Engage in client-facing business development activities, including cold calling, client meetings, presentations, and negotiations, to establish and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Lead the preparation and submission of large bid frameworks, working closely with technical teams to ensure competitive and compelling proposals.
  • Drive market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities, emerging trends, and potential areas for growth.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, adjusting strategies as needed to meet and exceed targets.
  • Work closely with the operational team to ensure that sales efforts align with the overall business objectives and capabilities of CaSE.
  • Lead the expansion of the sales team as the business grows, reflecting the start-up nature of the role with potential for future advancement.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in a senior leadership role within the Civil and Structural Engineering sectors, with a proven track record of driving business growth and profitability.
  • Strong understanding of the Middle Eastern market, particularly Saudi Arabia, with the ability to navigate complex regulatory and business environments.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing world-class business development and sales strategies, with a strong focus on achieving financial performance.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse team.
