Job Description

• Develop and maintain detailed cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project specifications.
• Monitor project budgets and expenditures, providing regular reports to stakeholders on financial performance against forecasts.
• Analyze cost variances and identify trends, offering actionable insights to project managers to mitigate financial risks.
• Collaborate with procurement teams to evaluate supplier quotes, ensuring cost-effective purchasing decisions that align with project budgets.
• Implement robust cost control procedures, conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with financial policies and project requirements.
• Prepare and present cost reports and forecasts to senior management, facilitating informed decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist in the preparation of bid submissions and proposals, ensuring that all cost components are accurately represented.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely submission of invoices and change orders, streamlining cash flow management.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in Road and infrastructure in UAE (5 to 10 years’ experience)
• Familiar with the construction methodology, process & sequence of work
• Determining key variables for cost and other estimates
• Good relationships with key vendors (subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, etc.)
• Excellent numerical skills and an analytical mindset
• Gather first-hand information from sites and market
• Experience/knowledge to conduct research to obtain data on labor costs, materials, production, etc.
• Obtain and review offers and quotes by subcontractors or vendors
• Perform risk analysis
• Familiarity with financial and project management principles
• Proficient in relevant software CAD and CANDY or similar software
