Provide cost controlling support for all projects, which includes variation reporting, monitoring of milestone progress, and the preparation of customer billing processes. Perform and manage project activity scheduling and monitoring, and conduct technical and commercial reviews of tenders.
Responsibilities:
Support the Development Cost Planning Business Plan, using tools and implementing cost planning processes on all projects.
Prepare detailed project cost plans, presenting recommendations and benchmarking at project reviews to achieve sign-off on Cost Planning outputs.
Assess skills gaps within the regional cost planning team and develop a plan to rectify the gap.
Control and monitor project total expenditure, including verifying and checking invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure all project expenditures are captured and properly recorded.
Provide planning and cost controlling support for all projects, including variation reporting and monitoring of milestone progress.
Perform technical and commercial reviews of subcontractor quotations for the preparation of service agreements.
Ensure effective project implementation and utilize productive reports from the creation of the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) using the project management system to monitor the status of all purchases, invoicing, and delivery up to project closure.
Coordinate and work with the project management team to resolve project issues to ensure the delivery/completion of project work.
Attend project meetings and discussions with the PMT and external clients.
Perform project costing-related reporting to the team and management’s review on a monthly basis to ensure expenditures are kept within the project budget.
Provide cost control and planning advice to the internal PMT team as needed.
Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as required.

Educational Qualifications:
Degree in Engineering with specialization in Project Management or Cost Control related training.
Knowledge in the use of MS Project, Primavera Scheduling, and SAP software is highly advantageous.
