We are seeking a skilled Cost Clerk to assess labor and parts costs, manage job allocations, and ensure accurate invoicing within our automotive workshop. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to workshop efficiency, cost control, and performance tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Evaluate labor and parts line items in service orders, splitting them into different jobs and allocating sub-orders.
2. Estimate the time required for each worker to complete assigned tasks.
3. Calculate job costs after mechanics complete their tasks.
4. Prepare invoices and estimates in a timely manner.
5. Raise proforma invoices for cash and contract periodic service orders and verify posted consumable charges.
6. Amend computerized job cards and invoices to optimize workflow.
7. Ensure invoices and related documents align with system records.
8. Arrange and generate daily workshop performance reports.
9. Prepare incentive computations and claim forms.
10. Enter relevant data into the system accurately.
11. Perform other duties as requested by the Service Manager.

Requirements:

Education: Degree or Diploma in any discipline.

Experience: Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in cost estimation or workshop operations.

Languages: Fluency in English is essential; Arabic is preferred.

Software: Proficient in computerized accounting systems and office automation software.
