Job Summary:The Corporate Director of F&B is responsible for overseeing pre-openings of hotels and new restaurants, ensuring that concepts, procedures, and policies are aligned with the strategic direction. This role focuses on delivering high-quality dining experiences and maintaining brand integrity across all properties, while supporting ongoing F&B operations, driving performance, and optimizing revenue.Responsibilities:
Oversee pre-opening processes for new hotels and restaurants, ensuring all F&B concepts, procedures, and service standards are implemented with precision.
Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Service Operating Standards (SOSs), and Unique Selling Points (USPs) for F&B outlets, ensuring consistent execution.
Manage critical paths for pre-openings, coordinating with key stakeholders and ensuring readiness for grand openings.
Collaborate with Area General Managers and hotel leadership teams to recruit, train, and develop senior F&B personnel, supporting talent management and succession planning.
Ensure the quality of F&B services and products meet or exceed brand standards, implementing continuous improvements and addressing any performance issues.
Lead the review and approval of commercial plans for pre-opening and existing hotels, aligning with business objectives and financial targets.
Drive productivity improvements in F&B operations, implementing tools and processes that enhance efficiency and performance.
Maintain strong relationships with hotel management, F&B directors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and achievement of goals.
Oversee outsourced F&B partners, ensuring their deliverables are aligned with brand standards and operational requirements.
Lead the implementation of core beverage programs across all properties, ensuring consistency in offerings and standards.
Identify and implement industry best practices and trends, collaborating with partners to stay ahead of market changes.
Support renovations and new openings, coordinating with architects, designers, and consultants to ensure successful execution of F&B concepts.
Manage the OS&E (Operating Supplies & Equipment) strategy for F&B outlets, ensuring all necessary tools and equipment are ordered and implemented efficiently.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the Middle East.
Strong background in Food & Beverage management, with experience in both operations and pre-openings.
Ability to develop and implement strategic plans, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
Proven leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with fluency in written and spoken English.
Ability to analyze financial data and use it to drive business decisions.
Level of Education:
College or university degree in Hospitality, F&B Management, or related field.
Work Hours:
Flexible schedule, including the ability to travel for pre-openings and operational support.
Experience in Months:
Minimum of 24 months in a senior F&B management role.
