Job Description:

7+ years of experience in Core Banking support, preferably in Phoenix, an ITS Core banking product. Responsibilities include:

1. Analyzing problems and business issues raised by users with respect to the deployed applications systems.
2. Providing support for all defined banking application systems.
3. Liaising with users to gather and consolidate the gaps existing in the deployed applications systems for enhancements.
4. Coordinating with the Database Administrator and the Data Centre Operators, as needed, to understand data optimization and data modeling related issues.
5. Coordinating with the IT Applications Systems Unit/Project Leaders to be aware of projects that will be developed and implemented, which will subsequently reach the maintenance and support phase.

Minimum qualifications include:

1. Minimum 5 years in Software development/Support (Core Banking).
2. Good knowledge and experience in ETHIX Products: Core, Branch, Finance, Credit, and PCD.
3. Good knowledge and experience in Problem analysis and solving.
4. Good knowledge and experience in Query Language.
5. Good understanding of requirement analysis and knowledge of Software quality assurance.
6. Experience in Application Maintenance pertaining to Back-end applications, and knowledge of configuration management.
7. Good understanding of the techno-functional implications.
8. Experience in analyzing problem areas through discussions with various stakeholders of IT Applications.
9. A good overview of Banking functions.
10. Knowledge in IT Project Management and IT Quality Processes.
11. Knowledge of IT Security policies and their relevance to implementation and operational aspects of IT Applications.
12. Good communication skills.
13. Good command of English (Arabic language would be an added advantage).
