Job description

MCC Controller is responsible for coordinating and continuously monitoring the daily works. He/She ensures that all required support is available to production staff to perform maintenance tasks pertaining to Base maintenance/Line maintenance projects. MCC makes sure the optimum usage of Hangar space in the most cost-efficient way. MCC is the first point of contact for SAS, DCA, production staff, as well as customers for various support requirements.


Key Duties / Responsibilities:

  1. Assists customers in obtaining Aircraft Landing and Maintenance permits from SHJ DCA.
  2. Coordinates and monitors Aircraft Arrival/Departure and Hangar Dock in/Dock out.
  3. Contacts Airport Services (SAS, OPS, SASCO, etc.) for required services like Towing, Idle and HP EGR, Defueling/Refueling, and other equipment.
  4. Maintains detailed records of each aircraft parked in GAES hangar, SHJ Apron, and GAMA Apron (Time in/Time out).
  5. Assists Gama staff in parking of Business jets in GAES hangar and maintains detailed records of it.
  6. Has regular meetings with Senior Management to discuss and plan incoming Projects, Pre-docking checks, space allocation, and requirements for all major tasks.
  7. Tracks all Emergency AD releases by subscribing to a notification system in the CAA portal.
  8. Supports GAES Line Maintenance team by providing coordination between Customer, SHJ OPS, and GAES.
  9. Assists Customers in Schedule/unscheduled/AOG checks at Sharjah Line station, tracking all man-hours, tools & equipment and raising WRS for invoicing.
  10. Assists Customers and customer support in Aircraft De-Registration/Re-registration process.
  11. Ensures all sanding/Painting tasks are carried out in accordance with company safety procedures and that other Aircraft/Equipment are not affected.
  12. Raises requisitions of parts/consumables/materials in Wings system and communicates with Procurement officers out of normal working hours.
  13. Checks and confirms invoices pertaining to SAS/DCA in Fossdoc for approval by Management.
  14. Supports higher management with any additional tasks or projects to meet organizational objectives.

Performs other tasks assigned by Direct Manager.


Requirements

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education & Certification

  1. Bachelors/Diploma in Aviation/Mechanical Engineering or ICAO Part 66 B1/B2 License holder.
  2. At least one aircraft Level 1 training of any of the following aircraft - B747, B737, B777, A320, and A330 is preferred.
  3. Knowledge in CAA.
  4. English Language Level not less than B2.

Knowledge, Skills / Abilities

  1. Knowledge of aviation safety and regulatory requirements.
  2. Knowledge in interpreting aircraft technical manuals, AMM, IPC, SRM, OEM drawings, etc.
  3. Able to work with minimum supervision.
  4. Ability to work under pressure, Self-Motivated Team Player, Attention to Details, and Follow-up skills.
  5. Excellent communication skills.
  6. Flexible to work during weekends, holidays, and during night shifts.
  7. Knowledge of various MS Office applications.

Experience

  1. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the same or similar role in a Part 145 organization.
