Job description
1. Monitoring and Surveillance:
- Continuously monitor realtime operational data communication channels or surveillance systems for anomalies or incidents.
- Oversee multiple systems (e.g. CCTV alarm systems, SCADA, or other monitoring technologies) to ensure optimal functionality.
- Respond to system alerts, alarms, or emergency situations promptly, ensuring proper protocols are followed.
2. Incident Management:
- Serve as the first point of contact for emergencies or operational disruptions.
- Coordinate with field teams, internal departments, and external agencies (e.g. emergency services) to resolve issues efficiently.
- Log incidents, decisions, and actions taken, ensuring all details are recorded for further analysis or reporting.
3. Communication and Coordination:
- Ensure clear, timely, and efficient communication with field personnel, managers, and other stakeholders.
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure that realtime updates and status reports are provided to management.
- Maintain communication flow between shifts, ensuring that information is passed on smoothly to incoming teams.
4. Operational Support:
- Support daily operations by ensuring all control center systems are functional and performing regular system checks.
- Perform troubleshooting for system errors, escalating issues to technical teams when necessary.
- Assist with contingency planning and help implement response measures during emergencies or system failures.
5. Shift Management:
- Oversee and manage activities during assigned shifts, ensuring that operations are consistent and uninterrupted.
- Maintain shift logs, ensuring that all key decisions, incidents, and operational updates are recorded.
- Ensure handovers between shifts are efficient, with all important updates communicated to the incoming shift team.
6. Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure that all operations adhere to company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and submit reports on daily activities, incidents, and any operational inefficiencies.
- Contribute to the creation and review of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve operational performance.
7. Crisis Management:
- Take the lead during emergency situations by following predefined emergency protocols and mobilizing appropriate resources.
- Work closely with emergency response teams or first responders to ensure effective handling of critical incidents.
8. System Maintenance:
- Report any faults, system errors, or technical issues to the relevant maintenance or technical departments.
- Assist in regular testing, calibration, or updating of systems to ensure smooth operations.
- Stay updated on technological advancements in control center tools and equipment.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, minimum 4 years of experience in the Aviation Security Domain.
