Registered Nurse (RN) Job Duties

1. Effectively implement patient care plans
2. Perform various patient testing and administer medications
3. Give quality care to patients requiring intensive nursing care, in accordance with established policies and procedures of the facility.
4. Document and maintain consumer medical records, recording all changes as they occur.
5. Make rounds with physicians, document medication changes, notify proper staff of changes.
6. Effectively handle emergencies.

Requirements

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Qualifications:

1. Current Licensed Practical Nurse Licensed in the state you are applying
2. Current BLS and ACLS certification through the American Heart Association
3. Minimum of 1 year of current work experience, preferably in a skilled nursing environment
4. Must be able to act effectively in emergency situations
5. Must have excellent communication skills
