Contract Administrator
Job description
Currie & Brown is looking for a Contracts Administrator to join our team in Dubai.
What will you be doing?
- Review plans, specifications and contracts to ensure the correct equipment, material and subcontractor services are ordered and/or purchased.
- Determine or negotiate contract terms and conditions, award supplier contracts or recommend contract awards.
- Review and update existing contracts.
- Explain terms and conditions to managers and relevant parties.
- Establish delivery schedules, monitor progress, and contact clients and suppliers to resolve problems.
- Analyze potential risks involved with specific contract terms.
- Work with project managers, architects, engineers, owners and others to make sure project goals are met.
- Ensure all deadlines and conditions described on contracts are met.
- Maintain organized system of physical and digital records.
What do you need?
- Proven work experience as a Contract Administrator.
- Basic knowledge of legal requirements involved with contracts.
- Excellent writing skills.
- Keen attention to detail, with an ability to spot errors.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to work with varying seniority levels, including staff, managers and external partners.
- Degree in Quantity Surveyor or equivalent.
