This position reports to

Hub Commercial Operation Manager, MEA

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the deployment of the continuous improvement strategy for a local organizational unit, including promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement. You will mentor and coach teams to achieve operational excellence and drive improved results. You will also deploy and lead projects to improve and sustain local business performance. The work model for the role is: {onsite}. This role contributes to the {electrification} in {UAE}. You will be mainly accountable for:

1. Escalating to relevant stakeholders, as necessary, to remove roadblocks that prevent the successful implementation and adoption of continuous improvement initiatives at the local level and helping facilitate cases of conflicting priorities in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
2. Ensuring the continuous improvement approach and strategy deployed at the local ABB unit level is aligned with the global strategy.
3. Facilitating significant improvements with respect to safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and/or cost targets, meeting customer and stakeholder commitments in collaboration with local leadership.
4. Providing training support by developing and maintaining training modules and toolkits aligned with business needs in collaboration with management at the local level.

Qualifications for the role

• 10+ years of experience in a related role
• Expert level in SAP SD, MM, FICO with a minimum of 5 years working experience
• Good understanding of APO
• Good understanding of inventory planning and logistics processes
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Expert-Level IT Tools for Continuous Improvement
• In addition to MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI, proficiency in a range of IT tools enhances efficiency, automation, and data-driven decision-making in Continuous Improvement (CI) and Lean Six Sigma (L6S) initiatives.
