About the role:

The Content Writer is a crucial role at Liquidity for a versatile and talented wordsmith with a strong understanding of the financial services sector. You have a knack for translating complex financial concepts into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences across various platforms. Your writing is engaging, persuasive, and effectively communicates our value proposition while enhancing our brand voice.

Based in our Abu Dhabi office and collaborating closely with the marketing and regional teams across Liquidity, you'll play a vital role in shaping how we present ourselves to clients, partners, and the wider financial community across all our markets. Your expertise spans both long-form content creation and concise marketing copy, allowing you to craft impactful messages across all touchpoints.

Responsibilities

  • Write and edit a wide range of content, including blog posts, website copy, newsletters, social media updates, internal communications, and talking points
  • Craft compelling marketing copy for various channels, including email campaigns, landing pages, and promotional materials
  • Create engaging narratives around our key offerings, translating complex financial topics into accessible content with a storytelling approach
  • Develop thought leadership pieces, including whitepapers, blog posts, and articles
  • Produce content for sales enablement materials, including pitch decks and presentations
  • Write internal communications to keep employees informed and engaged
  • Adapt content for different regional markets, ensuring cultural relevance and sensitivity
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to align content with overall marketing strategy and campaigns
  • Ensure all written materials align with the firm's brand voice, values, and messaging while maintaining a professional and engaging tone across all content types
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to inform content creation
  • Review and edit content to ensure it is clear, accurate, and free of errors, maintaining high-quality standards
  • Optimize content for search engines and implement SEO best practices

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of content writing and copywriting experience, preferably in the financial services or B2B sector
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating ability to write clear, compelling content and marketing copy for various formats and platforms
  • Excellent grasp of English language, grammar, and style
  • Understanding of financial services industry and ability to write about complex financial topics
  • Strong research skills and ability to quickly grasp and communicate new concepts
  • Ability to adapt writing style to different audiences and formats, from long-form articles to concise marketing messages
  • Experience in crafting marketing copy for newsletters, websites, and promotional campaigns
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Team player with strong collaboration skills
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or related field
  • Experience writing for fintech or investment firms - an advantage
  • Crafting diverse content types from long-form thought leadership articles and whitepapers to concise social media posts, email campaigns, and website copy - an advantage
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and ability to optimize content for search engines - an advantage
