Roles and Responsibilities

Job Description

  • Writing, reviewing, editing, and updating content for company websites, blogs, marketing materials, and similar platforms.
  • Conducting research and interviews to learn more about current trends, developments, and perceptions about the subject matter, and then contextualizing your findings.
  • Assisting the creative team with the design of promotional materials.
  • Using social media to engage consumers, respond to questions or complaints, and to promote company initiatives.
  • Collaborating with internal departments to establish campaign objectives, complete tasks, and identify and solve problems.
  • Monitoring social media and company website metrics.
  • Utilizing SEO methods to increase site traffic.
  • Suggesting new ways to promote company offerings and to reach consumers.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in English, marketing, or a similar field.

Experience:

  • 10+ years’ experience in health care, creating strong, engaging content.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated excellence in writing, proofreading, and editing.
  • An understanding of SEO best practices.
  • Excellent research, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Strong listening and native English communication skills.
  • The capacity to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to work efficiently without compromising quality or accuracy.

Content Strategy Development

  • Developing a content strategy that aligns with the brand’s goals, target audience, and overall marketing objectives.
  • Planning content calendars, defining content themes, and determining the optimal content mix (e.g., blog posts, videos, social media posts).

Audience Research and Targeting

  • Conducting research to understand the needs, preferences, and behaviors of the target audience.
  • Tailoring content to engage the audience based on demographic and psychographic data.

Content Planning and Scheduling

  • Organizing and planning content creation activities to ensure consistent output and timely delivery.
  • Scheduling content for publication using tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, or content management systems.

Creative Content Development

  • Writing and Copywriting
    • Writing compelling and engaging text for blogs, websites, social media, and other digital platforms.
    • Crafting attention-grabbing headlines and calls-to-action (CTAs) that drive user engagement.
  • Visual Content Creation
    • Designing or producing visual content such as images, infographics, and illustrations that complement written content.
    • Using tools like Adobe Photoshop, Canva, or similar platforms to create high-quality graphics.
  • Video Production
    • Creating and editing videos for platforms like YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, or corporate websites.
    • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and video shooting techniques.
  • Photography
    • Capturing high-quality images for blogs, social media, and marketing materials.
    • Using professional photography equipment and editing software to create visually appealing photos.
